Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the biggest titles that ever hit the Xbox 360. A first person shooter with an engaging single player campaign which was set in the present for once. The multiplayer is what really shot the game to huge popularity though.
Modern Warfare 2 was announced at E3 this year and yesterday details emerged about the various editions players can acquire the game in. The big news though was the Prestige edition:

Yes you read that correctly this edition of the game comes with fully functional night vision goggles. This thing will presell like mad. For $150 you can grab pre-order yours now. Me, I’m going to pass I do not think Mrs Ubernerkle can trust me with that sort of tech in the house.
Dan Brown became well known as the author of The Da Vinci Code and his popularity increased with Tom Hanks taking the role of Robert Langdon in the movie of the same name and its prequel also based on Brown’s Angels and Demons. Brown’s writing style is easy and engaging he establishes a good pace and maintains it well rarely leaving the reader idle long enough to get distracted by anything else. I’ve read both TDVC and A&D as well as The Fortress and Brown has made it into circulation under the ‘Authors I will read anything they write” category along side Neil Gaiman, Neal Stephenson, Jim Butcher, F. Paul Wilson and Glen Cook.
